Entrepreneur development training for mothers of girl children in Salem

Salem  09 Feb, 2021

HIV/AIDS has a profound impact on the lives of infected/affected families. The epidemic has compounded a whole range of challenges surrounding poverty and inequalities, which adversely affect the education of children, especially girls. The recent COVID-19 pandemic has further deteriorated their livelihoods. To help these families overcome the challenges of livelihood and ensure continuous education for their children, the AEA’s ENLIGHT project conducted an ‘Entrepreneur development training program’ for mothers of girl children in Salem. The training program focused on various aspects of entrepreneur development, which ranged from developing and executing a business idea to a business plan.
