An unforgettable day of firsts!

On March 16, 2024, 25 children from Thirukandalam Enlight Child Support Centre stepped beyond their familiar horizons. Nestled in the heart of Thirukandalam village, where opportunities are sparse, these children embarked on an adventure unlike any other. 

Their destination? The Anna Centenary Library and the Birla Planetarium. 

At the library they were surrounded by the magic of literature. Sitting in a circle, they explored worlds within pages, igniting a passion for knowledge. With guidance, they selected books, each one a gateway to new possibilities. 

Then, off to the stars! The Birla Planetarium welcomed them into the cosmos, where dreams take flight. Through mesmerizing shows and exhibitions, their imaginations soared. They glimpsed the vastness of space, each twinkling light a reminder of limitless potential. 

But this wasn't just an outing—it was a transformative journey. These children returned to their homes not just with books and memories, but with a newfound sense of empowerment. They carry the torch of knowledge, lighting the path to a brighter tomorrow. Together, let's celebrate their journey and the boundless possibilities that lie ahead!
