Perspective building workshop for Enlight project teams of Noida, Gurugram and Delhi

A 3-day ‘Perspective Building’ workshop was organized from 13th to 15th February 2023 for the staff of the Enlight project in Noida, Gurugram, and Delhi. Girls from Leprosy-infected/affected families, waste pickers, and manual scavengers are the focus of Enlight projects in Noida, Gurugram, and Delhi.

Participants received an overview of the project goals, various processes adopted to achieve them, and the need to prepare an action plan during the workshop. In addition, experts in the field of education guided team members on how to assess and monitor children’s academic performance.

Methodologies for developing Child Assessment tools and teaching materials were discussed. In the following sessions, the teams learned how to share compelling stories, and make several crafts themselves. In addition to providing a platform for cross-learning among project teams, the workshop was a great learning experience.

Initiated in 2015, the project has been reaching out to 2500 girl children of the most difficult circumstances in the cities of Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhubaneshwar, Chennai, Coimbatore, Delhi, Gurugram, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Pune, Trichy, Mumbai, Noida and Salem.
