SIRAGUGAL 2018 - Flying High this summer

The Enlight project organized SIRAGUGAL 2018, a 3 day summer camp from 11th to 13th of May this year at Sri Ramakrishna Middle School, Auditorium, Woraiyur in Tiruchirappalli. The event was organized with the support of Capgemini & ‘WeKare Society’. The Girl Children were engaged in knowledge building and fun activities. 

The camp comprised of Yoga training, mental strengthening, talks on protecting of girl children, body care during adolescence and women empowerment. To encourage and develop creativity amongst the children activities such as drawing, singing, craft making, mono-acting, and public speaking was organized. “The camp was a wonderful  experience as we were exposed to a number of lectures on various topics and I am sure that I can take the leanings productively to my academics”, says Anitha, a student participant.

The valedictory dais was shared by Balakrishnan Perumal, Business Services Manager at Capgemini, Muthu Kumar, Director of Mayan Art School, Mohan, Director of Aim too High Trust, and R. Aruldas, a Social Worker. The honourable guests' expressed their pride in being a part of the event. “It is my pleasure to represent Capgemini in such a fruitful endeavor of the NGO to help a community to help themselves” says Balakrishnan.
